PRESS RELEASE: New Coaching Staff 2021-22 Season

LUCAN IRISH SIX UPDATES

UPDATE: 2021/2022 SEASON

PJHL SEASON START CONFIRMED

Several weeks ago the Provincial Junior Hockey League approved a league start date of October 1 pending government and local health unit guidelines across the province.

Our arena is open and the ice is in! Thank you to Paul Smith and his staff for all the work they did to get things up and running again in time for our season start!

We can confirm that the Lucan Irish Junior Hockey Club will begin its season October 1 vs Thamesford Trojans in Thamesford at 7:30 p.m. and our Home Opener will be October 2, vs Port Stanley at 7:30 p.m.

We look forward to welcoming fans back into the arena. We have lots of space for social distancing and mask wearing will be encouraged. Lucan Irish Junior Hockey face masks are for sale now! At this time we require that a health screening questionnaire be filled out on the day of any game, practice, tryout, or event that you will be attending. We are excited to be back to hockey and are doing everything we can to keep all our participants safe and healthy.
